Battlefield 2 RulesServer set up
- Clans can use their own server or Clans United server (if available).
- The Clans United servers and all servers used for matches must be streaming to PBBans, with 'Enforce Bans' flag enabled.
- 20 Mins - 300 Points limits set for all maps.
- Battle Recorder must be on, and retained for a week in case of dispute.
Players
- All players must have submitted a Punkbuster GUID before playing in Clans United, which must have been checked by a Clans United admin. Players are only eligible to play when the GUID appears on the locked clan squad list.
- Any clan that uses a player not on their list or plays with an incorrect GUID (unless agreed by both clans) will lose three points and match score.
- Players caught cheating or after investigation found to have previously banned IDs will be expelled from Clans United. All players should read the Anti-Cheat Policy, adherence to which is a condition of playing in Clans United.
- Minimum 6v6 to start, more can added if available.
Match Setup
- It's down to the home clan to sort their matches. Home clan picks two different maps. This is to give the home team the advantage. Home clan must make sure time and dates are ok with away clan through forum, e-mail or msn.
- In the event of a cancellation with 24hrs of a match, the 'ready' team will get the default win, unless they wish to agree to a postponement. Matches once set may be postponed once only per clan.
- Match settings and maps must be made known to away team when match is set and not changed once match has started.
- Home side chooses following settings for both maps:
Friendly fire on or off Global unlocks on or off Map and map size Infantry only or vehicles Commanders allowed or not C4 and/or claymores allowed or not
During match
- Should a technical problem on the arise during match, the match can be postponed, or switched to another clan server providing rules in Server Setup: 2-4 are observed.
- In the event of a no-show after 30 mins (or 20 mins with no contact), a clan may claim a default win (600-0). However we would prefer clans to postpone/rearrange where possible (max. twice, see Match Set-up : 2).
- Matches must be played to the end. This league is done on a rounds difference system, so if two clans have the same points, it will then go down to round difference i.e. if a clan wins 1200-600 they will have a +600 round difference.
- General substitutions can be made at half time. A player who crashes out may rejoin or be substituted at any time.
- Spec Ops only in uncap bases to destroy commander assets and withdraw immediately, and using light vehicles or on foot, eg jeeps/boats not choppers and tanks.
- No C4 ramming with vehicles, no C4 jumping and no C4 on flags.
- No stealing vehicles inc air assets from uncapturable bases.
- No intentional ramming of choppers or jets into other vehicles or infantry.
- No bunnyhopping - defined as three or more consecutive jumps; throwing nades or jumping round corners not counted.
- Seat swapping in choppers is allowed.
- Cheat calling or any form of abuse in matches will result in the player involved will being banned for twelve weeks. A second incident involving the same player will mean he/she is removed from CU. We dont care who or why. If abuse does take place take a screenshot and send to your admin. Wait until after the match, then your league admin will make your complaint if necessary.
- Rule infringements should be sorted during the match. If not resolved, wait until after the match, and view the battle recorder. Should a clan still wish to complain, admins will view the battle recorder also. Penalties will be decided at that point, if required.
After match
- Report scores within 48hrs of match being played. Post scores in forum (same place as your match is posted).
- Upload PunkBuster logs using the button on the home page, as soon as possible after the match. A home team who cannot provide scanner logs in a reasonable amount of time will receive a default score of 0.
Chopper League Rules
- Maps to be played are Dragon Valley and Daqing Oilfields, 10 rounds per map, 2 minutes per round.
- Points scored by killing the opponents, opponents crashing their own chopper or receiving out-of-bounds damage resulting in chopper destruction.
- Where both choppers are killed simultaneously, e.g. a midair collision, round must be replayed.
- Choppers once airborne cannot set down for any reason.
- Seat switching limitations: If pilot is killed, gunner can switch to pilot seat and finish the round as pilot only (he cannot switch back to gunner). If gunner is killed, the pilot has to finish as pilot only (he cannot switch to gunner).
- In the event of a draw, another 3 rounds are played on current map to determine the overall match winner.
